Emergency Plumbing: We Respond Quickly to Leaks and Stoppages
When an active leak or burst pipe threatens to flood your property, or you are faced with a whole-house or single-fixture stoppage, our emergency response is swift. We will triage the matter to determine the scope and take the necessary steps to halt any damage, whether that means turning off the water, using our tools to find the break, or effecting a repair. In the event we cannot be there at once, and you have made the call, do not hesitate to shut the supply and put in a call to local emergency services to keep further water damage at bay.
Drain Cleaning and Hydro Jetting
Tree roots, sediment, non-flushables, and kitchen grease are the usual culprits behind clogs. We employ the right cutter head and machine for the job to clear out scale and hair. With more stubborn buildup, we turn to hydro jetting; it is like pressure-washing the inside of the sewer with 1,500 to 3,500 psi of water. It is very effective on grease, but we would not recommend it for old cast-iron lines that are brittle. We also caution against chemical drain cleaners, which can exacerbate issues and harm your plumbing.
Sewer Line Repair & Replacement
If you are seeing poor flow or slow drains, the sewer line may be on its way out. We use camera and hydrostatic testing to check for root intrusion, bellies and joint damage. If age or roots have compromised the system, we will often advise a full replacement as being more dependable than making spot repairs over and over. We look at each case to see if a trench or trenchless method is appropriate, though some of those approaches will not fix a belly or multiple branch failures.
