Emergency Plumbing for Leaks and Stoppages
Most of our emergency calls involve an active water leak or a whole-house stoppage. In the case of a water leak, we make it a priority to get there quickly to avert flooding and any damage to the property. In the event of a stoppage, we first determine if the issue is isolated to a single bathroom or has affected the whole house. From there, we put forward the appropriate course of action, be it emergency or urgent plumbing, or a scheduled visit for the following day as the situation dictates. The aim of our service calls is to get to the root cause by identifying the symptoms and then put in quality workmanship you can rely on.
Gas Line Installation and Safety
There are strict safety protocols we observe when we are repairing or putting in new gas lines: shutting off the gas, pressure testing once the job is done and making an inspection call for any major work. With certain flexible track pipe products, one needs manufacturer certification to do the install; going without it can void warranties and introduce risk. And while some might overlook a gas leak, prompt diagnosis and testing of yard and house services is essential to avoid dangerous circumstances.
Water Heaters and Tankless Systems
We offer both conventional tank water heaters and tankless models. While the latter gives you what amounts to an endless supply of hot water, they put an instantaneous demand on the gas line. We do not generally recommend the electric tankless variety for many homes given the cost of an electrical upgrade. As for signs that your water heater is in need of repair or a new unit, look for brown or rusty water, a pan that is leaking, or simply no hot water at all. A rotten egg odour may point to a worn anode rod which is something that can be fixed.
